Gettysburg is a town surrounded by history. Whether you are a first time visitor or someone who has visited Gettysburg in the past, our Town Tour is an excellent starting point to explore the town’s history. A Gettysburg Licensed Town Guide will lead you on a [ 60 or 90 minute] walking tour and describe the civilians’ experiences during the three day battle, occupation of the town, and the aftermath, including President Lincoln’s visit.

The Gettysburg Licensed Town Guides provide other tours in addition to the Town Tour. A description of the tours is listed on the “Walking Tours” menu above. Our tours are not scripted. Each tour is uniquely designed by each Guide using historic photographs and primary source civilian accounts.
